Problem:

Attaching raised floor plates by welding or drilling to supporting steelwork can weaken the structural members. Welding necessitates the obtaining of a Hot Work Permit. The use of bolts can be awkward, as fastening requires access from above and below.

Solution:

Raised pattern floor plates can be secured using the FloorFix fastener, eliminating the need for welding or drilling. With simple hand tools, the FloorFix fastener can be installed by one person working from above; there is no need to access the underside of the floor plate. The FloorFix fastener can be secured quickly and likewise removed or repositioned with ease.
